a word to the wise. don’t take more than three months off of making a layout because you’re going to be rusty and make sure that your copy/paste works. those are two things that prevented me from being able to go to sleep on time while making this layout lol.

but yes. there’s a new layout! a little different for relentless, isn’t it? i haven’t done a confined table design for the main R-D site since version two i do believe. and i think it looks good. this is the most room that this site has ever had so there’s some strange adjustments going on, and i pretty much broke the entire PHP structure after uploading this.

but it’s totally worth it!

and now that it’s break i’ll be actually making things. promise!

Hooray for a new design added in the collection! I decided to go out on a limb and go softwareless on an apple (i usually use the aid of frontpage) but i figured that I’m good enough now to write everything without the use of any other programs, and I did. Hopefully I can keep this up and make layouts from scratch and memory from here on out.

I have a lot of classes going on and a lot of commissions and traditional art projects to finish so you won’t be seeing much of me but I swear I’ll update whenever I can. My portfolio desperately needs help:

It’s been a little over a month since I’ve updated and there’s two reasons for that that are kind of out of my control. I hate making excuses, but they’re pretty important. One of my Wordpress plugins was corrupt for whatever reason and broke the login page for my admin panel so I was unable to even access this site. I was able to fix the problem by repairing databases and rewriting my admin table.

Upgrading to the new version has not been healthy for me.

Second of all, my “new” laptop was one of the 2007 models with a defective battery. I found this out last night when my computer kept arbitrarily shutting itself off. I let it rest for an hour or so and now the battery meter is WAY off. So I’m taking her down to the store to get it fixed.

Because of computer issues, I haven’t been able to really work on my computer and install any programs that would help me make any layouts =[

Yayy! I’m back! I finally finally got my laptop and hooked up with photoshop. I’m a little rusty design wise, so I had a heck of a time making this layout, what with this being my first time using an apple and everything, some things are really different. I also got cs3, which i have never used.

all in all, i really love this layout. it looks a LOT like the other one, but it’s not so obscure- i had a lot of people asking me who exactly was on that layout because they couldn’t even see it lol.
