Adjusting Hues
This is a cool trick that just brings out really neat colors and defines certain colors better in all of your graphics. it gets rid of a color that seems to fog up the entire image. all it really does it make your graphics more crisp looking and defined. I don't like soft layouts very much, i'm much more for the bold and clean look.
Start out with your image. I have mine here:
First, make a copy of your image and put it somewhere safe.
Then you desaturate it by going to Image >> Adjustmensts >> Desaturate (or Ctrl + Shift + U). This will make your image black and white like so:
Now go to your first copy, the original one with color that you put in your safe place and paste it on top. Now choose Overlay in your blend mode drop down in your layers window.
This is what my end product looks like:
shop and compare:
The after version is less yellowy than the other. It's more crisp and the hue is much improved without playing too much with the colors. Great tip to use to adjust your image
